Trip to Great Grandma Gladys

Piper, Addison and I stayed a few days in Rock Falls and made a trip to visit Grandma Gladys.  Arabella and Angela also made the trip so Grandma was in baby heaven!!

 

My big baby had to get in some lap time   Addison also had lunch at her own table with Grandma Gladys all to herself!!  She thought that was pretty special even shared some of her fries with Grandma!

 

 

Grandpa Mike came for a visit!!

 

 

Addison had to make sure she had Grandpa’s attention even when he was holding Piper.  She had lots to show him and read him lots of stories.

 

Cousin Emma made the trip from Tennessee also!!

The sleepover!!  Ray slept in the tent and the girls had the bed..  Addison is BIG on sleepover parties since daycare had a sleepover.  Her idea of sleepover must involve games, pillow fight and stay up late!!

Piper 1 week old

During my pregnancy I decided I was going to attempt knitting.  Well poor Piper had to be my model   This is what my sister calls shaving cream hat! 

 

Next up is the tassel hat!  Her head ended up smaller than I thought so I had to do some rolling.

 

And finally the pinterest photo attempt.  I was slacking and didn’t get the letter painted! 

Already over her birth weight and growing so fast everyday!!

After a 4 night stay in nicu we have finally brought our baby girl home!  Big sister is already a huge helper.  I think Addison is going to go into lactation consulting, she is really interested how everything works.  I can only imagine what she is going to say about it when asked.

Addison’s 1st ER visit

This is how she looked when she got to the hospital.  She was at daycare when she fell.  I think track is out of the question unless we get a helmet for her!!

 

Here she is 10 stitches later!!  She was so brave, I think mommy had a harder time watching than she did getting them
